Colorado weather is unpredictable, but during the winter, we would recommend you carry snow pants, long underwear, a water-resistant coat, and a fleece jacket. For Spring and Fall, we would like to suggest you carry a light fleece, rain jackets, and t-shirts. For the summer season, locals suggest that you would need a lightweight jacket especially for the night, tank top, or a T-shirt. Also, hiking pants, shorts, jeans, swimwear, and warm camping gear.

Altitude disease is rare–but it can happen at intermediate altitudes (1,500–2,500 meters above sea level). After at least four hours above 2,000 meters, acute altitude sickness develops. Reaching heights above 2,500 meters can cause many symptoms. These include nausea and headaches.
