Day 1

Jump into Beijing

From the Airport, we will pick you up and drive you straight to the Capital Hotel Beijing, your accommodation for the vacation.

After checking in, you have the opportunity to enjoy some free time to explore this dynamic and rapidly modernizing city. As you wander through the streets, you'll witness the exciting transformations taking place right before your eyes. Enjoy your time in this amazing city and take in all the sights and experiences it has to offer.

Day 2

Stroll down the Eminent Landmarks of the City

Your day in Beijing promises to be a fascinating exploration of historic and cultural treasures. The top attractions that you'll be exploring today include Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City/Palace Museum (UNESCO site), and peeping into the rich culture of the city.

Take a pause and enjoy a luscious lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. After enjoying the authentic flavors and cuisine, resume your adventure and head to explore the Summer Palace. This magnificent royal garden is renowned as the best-preserved existing royal garden in Beijing. It features a complex of pavilions, temples, and galleries set within beautifully landscaped grounds situated on Kunming Lake.

Your evening is free for you to explore at your leisure, and you have the opportunity to enjoy dinner on your own. This provides you with the flexibility to discover more of Beijing's culinary delights or to relax and unwind as you prefer.

Day 3

Witness the Iconic Great Wall of China (UNESCO World Heritage site)

Your day in Beijing includes a visit to the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a journey to the historic Ming Tombs. The highlight of today's tour is The Great Wall, which is an architectural marvel with a history dating back centuries. It's fascinating to note that if you were to combine all the portions ever built.  

Visit Beijing Jade Carving Factory. Here, you can admire the exquisite craftsmanship of jade carvings, a significant and revered art form in Chinese culture. Refuel and relish authentic Chinese cuisine by taking a break for lunch. Further, continue your day adventure by exploring Ming Tombs - Chang Ling and Sacred Way. Chang Ling has a history spanning 500 years and offers insights into the Ming Dynasty's imperial heritage.

Explore the Sacred Way, the main pathway through which Ming Dynasty emperors paid homage to their ancestors. The Sacred Way is a magnificent avenue lined with impressive stone statues and structures.

As the day draws to a close, you'll indulge in a Peking Duck Dinner at a local restaurant. This iconic Chinese dish is a culinary delight and a must-try while in Beijing.

Day 4

Move Out from Beijing to Explore Xian

Your day in Beijing is filled with cultural exploration, from the sacred Temple of Heaven to the tranquil Lama Temple. Throughout the day, we will stroll down the eminent structures of the city, Xian, and they will include the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO site), the Lama Temple, and other eminent sites. At these major landmarks, you can even interact with the locals. 

At noon, pause at a local Chinese restaurant to enjoy a Chinese Noodle lunch and continue your vacation. After this, we will transfer you to the Airport to catch your flight to Xian. Upon your arrival in Xian, you'll be met by a local English-speaking guide and transferred to your Holiday Inn Xian Big Goose Pagoda.

The evening will be totally free in Xian; you can plan it the way you want. Either relax back at the hotel or hop out to explore the nearby landmarks in the city. You have the option to enjoy dinner on your own, allowing you to sample local cuisine or unwind as you prefer.

Day 5

Wandering Through the Marvels of Xian

Your day in Xian is brimming with cultural discoveries, from the remarkable Terracotta Warriors to the Ancient City Wall and the serene Big Wild Goose Pagoda. We will be checking the highlighted landmarks of the city, and today, we will explore Terracotta Warriors and Horses (UNESCO site). These underground army pits, created during the 3rd century BCE, house thousands of pottery soldiers, each with its unique appearance. These solemn figures were crafted to protect Emperor Qin Shihuangdi in the afterlife. Immerse yourself in history with a circle-vision film that reenacts the related events from 2300 years ago. Visit the Xian Ceramic and Art Workshop, where you can witness the process of creating Terra Cotta replicas.  

Enjoy your lunch, and then head ahead to visit the Ancient City Wall of Xian, one of the most complete and largest ancient structures demonstrating military defensive systems in the world. Further, make your way to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist pagoda that was originally built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty. It originally had five stories but was later rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian. The evening is totally up to you. You can craft the evening the way you want. 

Day 6

Pacing Up the Vacation by Reaching Guilin from Xian

Begin your day with a visit to the Ming Tomb, which serves as the final resting place of the Hongwu Emperor, the founder of the Ming Dynasty. Explore this historic site and gain insights into its architectural and cultural significance.

Next, we will visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, an architectural marvel that blends Chinese and Western design elements. The mausoleum is distinctively shaped like an alarm clock. It offers a unique glimpse into history, followed by a visit to the Presidential Palace, which once served as the Office of the President of the Republic of China from 1927 until the capital was relocated to Taipei in 1949. This palace holds a significant place in the country's political history.

You can enjoy your evening at Guilin Bravo Hotel at your leisure. Further, you also have the opportunity to explore the city, dine at local restaurants, or relax as you prefer.

Day 7

Covering the distance from Guilin to Yangshuo and Back to Guilin

Guilin promises picturesque views along the Li River, exploration of West Street, and the opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture. Embark on a full-day cruise on the Li River, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views of bamboo groves, serene villages, and the stunning karst peaks of limestone formations. Painters and poets have celebrated these natural wonders over the centuries for their captivating beauty. Lunch will be served on board as you sail along the river, allowing you to relish the panorama and immerse yourself in the scenic landscapes.

In the afternoon, explore West Street, which is conveniently located near your hotel. West Street is known as the 'Global Village,' drawing not only many foreign tourists but also a significant number of foreign residents who manage cafes and restaurants in the area. This street offers an exotic and vibrant atmosphere, combining elements of traditional culture with a global flair. It's a world-famous destination that captures the essence of Guilin's charm.

Late afternoon, you'll be transferred back to Guilin Bravo Hotel, where your evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. You have the option to dine at local restaurants, explore the city, or unwind as you prefer.

Day 8

Flying From Guilin to Shanghai

Day 9

Embellish Your Vacation with the Shanghai Day Tour

Begin your morning with a leisurely walk around People's Park, where you can observe locals engaging in morning exercises and activities. It's a great way to immerse yourself in the local culture and see how residents start their day. Next, visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, a six-story building that provides insights into Shanghai's urban planning and development. The centerpiece of the exhibit is a large-scale model of urban Shanghai, showcasing existing buildings and approved future developments.

Explore other exhibits that delve into Shanghai's history and planned development. Further, continue your exploration with a visit to the 400-year-old Yu Garden. The name "Yu" in Chinese indicates pleasing & satisfying. This garden was specially built for Pan's parents to enjoy serenity and happy time in their old age.

As you hop out of the garden, you'll find the famous Chen Huang Miao, an area filled with shops, recreation facilities, and restaurants. Have lunch at a local restaurant, and then continue your day tour by visiting the Bund, an iconic waterfront area offering panoramic views of the modern skyline on one side and historic architecture on the other. Don't miss checking out Shanghai Museum, renowned for its staggering collection of over 120,000 unique ancient Chinese artifacts.

Get back to the hotel, and the evening is free. You can spend it the way you want. 

Day 10
