To reach this scenic village, firstly visit the village of Ollantaytambo, and from there, get on a train to step into Aguas Calientes. While traveling, enjoy the scenic landscapes and the majestic green mountains.
Once you reach there, board a bus to reach the ancient Inca City of Citadel. The distance between these two landmarks might take around 2:30 hours. Having an elevation of around 2000+ meters, it is a Peruvian treasure, offering panoramic views, established in the 15th century.
Get back on the bus to return to Aguas Calientes, and then take a train to the village of Ollantaytambo. From there, head toward Agustos Urubamba Hotel for an overnight stay in the Sacred Valley. If you get some free time after reaching Aguas Calientes, you can explore the spot at your own pace.
Notable Points: The train reservations are subjected to Standard Category (Expedition train/Voyager train). Further, you can even add a supplement to a superior category train (i.e., 360º train or Vistadome train), and you can surely do so.
