Upon arrival at the Cancun International Airport transfer to your hotel in downtown. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Cancun.
CANCUN – CHICHEN ITZA – CANCUN (400km – 5hrs)

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel, then head deep into the rainforests of the Yucatan peninsula in search of the legendary Maya city of Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Learn about the Maya and their civilisation as you admire the scale and beauty of this ancient city. Behold the geometric perfection of the 25-metre Temple of Kukulkan, popularly known as El Castillo (‘the Castle’). This temple was built both as a representation of the mystical Maya calendar and to reflect the optical illusion of a serpent snaking its way up or down the pyramid during the spring and autumn equinoxes. Admire the Great Ball Court, the largest of 13 discovered at the site; see the haunting Skull Platform, where the heads of human sacrifice victims and prisoners of war were impaled; and the Sacred Cenote, where sacrifice victims were dumped. After the tour spent some free time in the ruins before returning to the hotel and enjoying a deli lunch on the way.

CANCUN – TULUM & XEL HA PARK – CANCUN (260km – 4hrs)

After breakfast drive to the archaeological site of Tulum, one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Mayans. Tulum is perhaps one of the most visually impactful sites in Mexico, as it juxtaposes ancient ruins next to turquoise coloured waters and white sand beaches. After the guided tour drive to Xel-Ha Park to spend the rest of the day. Practice unlimited snorkeling while you swim and enjoy its rivers, cenotes and natural cove. Enjoy unlimited food and drinks in an open bar. Overnight in Cancun.
CANCUN – FLORES/GUATEMALA (1hr by flight – not included)

After breakfast transfer to the Cancun Airport and board the flight for Flores (not included, we recommend an early flight).
Upon arrival at Mundo Maya Airport in Flores drive to visit Tikal National Park. Visit the majestic city of Tikal, considered the largest and most monumental of all sites discovered in the Mayan World. It was declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided walking tour to visit the most important plazas, complexes, temples, ball courts, palaces and stelae. Admire the tropical forest, the nesting place of hundreds of exotic birds and the habitat of a wide variety of wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the ruins before driving to Flores to visit the town.
